Geordie
Geordie Jay (21)
Maton Electric, Backup Vocals, Drums?
After an unfriendly run-in with music theory and piano lessons at a young age it was not until early high school that he acquired his first imitation Stratocaster.
After deciding two years was too long spent affronting his peers with distasteful funk-rock covers and often nauseating originals in his early high school band he decided to go solo, tuning his music skills by learning cheesy 80s guitar solos and counting in offensively irregular prog-rock timings like 29/16.
After spending a year in Europe trying to satisfy his incurable case of itchy feet, he reluctantly returned to Brisbane where he would eventually meet his fellow Liars.
His itchy feet still ail him, nearly leading him to split overseas on numerous occasions and causing him to come up with all kinds of unreasonable (and generally impossible) interstate and international touring schedules. The band is still yet to breach a 200km radius of Brisbane.
